Let's dive in.
Meta launched a new text-to-speech model
Meta is on fire with their AI advancements, and their latest release is Voicebox, an all-in-one generative speech model.
Here are the highlights:
Multilingual Speech Synthesis: Voicebox can synthesize speech across six languages, expanding its capabilities for global communication.
Versatile Performance: It can perform tasks that it wasn't specifically trained on, showcasing its adaptability and flexibility.
Advanced Features: Voicebox offers noise removal, content editing, style conversion, and more, empowering users with powerful speech processing capabilities.
Text-to-Speech Synthesis and Style Transfer: It supports text-to-speech synthesis, allowing conversion from written text to spoken words. Additionally, it enables cross-lingual style transfer, adding a new dimension to speech customization.
Exceptional Speed and Performance: Voicebox is 20 times faster than current models and surpasses single-purpose models by leveraging in-context learning.
Restricted Access: Unlike Meta's usual open-source approach, the model and code for Voicebox will not be publicly available due to concerns about potential misuse and the dangers associated with voice cloning.
Voice cloning using AI technology is becoming increasingly sophisticated, so prank calls are about to reach a whole new level.

Hackers stole 100,000 ChatGPT accounts
Hold on to your hats, folks!
We've got some important news about ChatGPT security:
More than 100,000 ChatGPT accounts were breached between June 2022 and May 2023 on the Dark Web.
Breached accounts were sold on dark web marketplaces, causing quite a stir.
The notorious info stealers Raccoon, RedLine, and Vidar are believed to be the main culprits.
While India had the highest number of affected users with 12,632 stolen credentials, users from various other countries were also impacted.
As the use of ChatGPT continues to soar, it's high time to prioritize two-factor authentication and other security measures to safeguard your precious credentials.
SDXL 0.9: the most advanced text-to-image model from Stability AI
Get ready for the scoop on the incredible SDXL 0.9 text-to-image model by Stability AI.
Here are the highlights:
It's hailed as the most advanced text-to-image model out there.
This beast of a model harnesses a massive amount of information, with 3.5 billion bits for the base model and a whopping 6.6 billion when the two models are combined.
It's supposed to generate more realistic images. The model claims to excel in generating hands (finally!), though we'll reserve judgment until we see it in action.
The model operates in two stages: the first stage creates an initial image, and the second stage refines it, adding those exquisite details.
